Beachsmith is more than a business, it’s an evolution of thinking – a collaboration that has been years in the making. Our paths in life have been so intertwined it’s hard to define where one’s road ends and another begins. We have all known each other for most of our lives and have worked together in several combinations on many varied projects – ranging from product development to packaging design and from website building to social media and content creation.


Ashley {Beach} Smith
Ashley has always been an entrepreneur! From her successful balloon business to her chain of Dallas scrapbook stores, she has garnered local and national attention for her saavy business models.

Ashley has designed, patented, manufactured and sold a store display system for retail stores. She launched a craft embellishment wholesale manufacturing business which grew to international proportions, with products on the shelves of chains like Hobby Lobby and Target.

She also has worked as a digital art and print broker through her website “Polka Dot Potato”. In 2011, she discontinued retail sales on that site to focus on print fulfillment, web design and commercial photo templates for big box customers, such as Costco.

Ashley’s strengths include but are not limited to: business consulting, web building, branding, graphic design

 

 


Ben Smith
Ben and Ashley have been married since 1990. They are the perfect union of happiness and creativity.

Not only has Ben supported an played key roles in all of his wife’s business endeavors, he has had an impressive career of his own. He has designed websites for a number of high profile clients including Kidd Kraddick (Ben built their social media network, Kidd Nation) and Dirk Nowitski.

Ben’s strengths include but are not limited to: web building, complex web functionality, special programming, advanced CSS, spec development & technical support



 

 



Emily Adams
Emily has always been involved in the arts. She worked in the craft & hobby industry for years as an educator, marketer and designer. She wrote about crafting and design for books and magazines, filmed several segments for the DIY network and taught and lectured throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

She is passionate about generational studies and trend forecasting. Not only did she forecast for the companies she worked for, she also taught trend watching to store owners and industry professionals alike.

Emily designs and sells an eclectic collection of pop culture & counter culture pinback buttons through her website, at conventions and to shops around the country.

Emily’s strengths include but are not limited to: project management, branding, content and newsletter writing, graphic design, logo design and promotional material design & development






Kate Lynch
Kate offers the perfect combination of commerce and creativity. With a backgound in product and web building, Kate has a polished and professional approach to design.

For the past several years Kate has been learning the ins and outs of the credit card processing business, balancing her right brain with pumped up left brain activities. Not only can she analyze your business, she can get you a better rate if possible.

Kate also specializes in social media and can implement a plan that will work for your company.

Kate’s strengths include but are not limited to: social media, branding, web building, credit card consulting and processing









Nolen Smith
Nolen is our intern extraordinaire. While not playing his electric guitar or minecraft, he is apprenticing with his parents. He has already created multiple sites from scratch.

Nolen is our audio/visual expert with more time behind the camera and in garage band than all of us combined!
